"Following from Ocular Robotics initial selection to demonstrate an Immersive Telepresence System at Army Innovation Day (AID16) in October 2016, the company has now been selected as one of the few to move forward to fully funded trials of their innovations in Army units in 2017.
Army Innovation Day was in its third year in 2016 and in an announcement on October 10 just prior to AID16 the Army advised that since the inception of Army Innovation Day, 13 contracts totalling over $100M have been issued to companies as a result of their demonstrations at the two previous events in 2014 and 2015."
