The Australian Prudential Regulatory Authority (APRA) has applied pressure on lenders in regards to lending for investment properties. They have ruled that Australian lenders must not exceed 10% investment lending growth year on year.
The first change has been the restriction in Loan to Value Ratios (LVR's) where some lenders have dropped investment LVR's to 80%.
This makes it harder for property investors as it forces them to require a larger deposit. This comes as a benefit to CRe8 because it expands its Home Without A Deposit market by being lender of the deposit gap.
CRe8 is an innovative developer of products and systems that provide solutions to needs in the property and finance industries. Its flagship product is ‘Home Without a Deposit’ for owner-occupiers and investors.
