Export Growth China is dedicated program that showcases the products or services of participating companies in a permanent pavilion in Shanghai, China. The Export Growth China staff both in Shanghai and Sydney work on the participating companies behalf to source authentic Chinese buyers.
Export Growth China offers a new way to reduce, and where possible, remove the risks and barriers for Chamber members who wish to export to China.
Export Growth China receives funding from the Australian Government as part of the Asian Business Engagement Plan and is conducted in partnership with the NSW Business Chamber, the Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Australian Business, the Australian Trade Commission and the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade.
The Company’s products will be showcased in a dedicated Ocular Robotics video presentation space in the purpose built Shanghai showroom located in Shanghaimart. Opened in 1999, Shanghaimart is the first permanent international trade mart in China and the largest in Asia. Located in central Shanghai, the entire complex is a premier international trading centre that provides international and domestic buyers with world-class facilities and services.
A key element of the program is the professional team of specialist consultants who actively search to find qualified buyers and introduce them to the Company’s products. In addition to the consultants search for authentic buyers, they also provide feedback regarding OCR’s products allowing the marketing messages to be continuously fine-tuned and ensure that the Company is fully informed at all times.
