Ahead of a potential second round capital to fund further growth, Opmantek Ltd (ASSOB: OMK) has been recognized as the leading exporter of ICT software in Queensland for 2014. The award was presented at the 25th anniversary of Queensland’s Export Awards by Premier, Campbell Newman, alongside Treasurer and Minister for Trade, Tim Nicholls.

“After being nominated as a finalist last year we knew we would be up against some very strong companies” said Danny Maher, CEO. “It’s an enormous award judged amongst companies such as Halfbrick (makers of Fruit Ninja) and fantastic recognition for the growth of the business in the last 12 months. We would like to thank all of our customers that have supported us” commented Mr Maher.

Every six minutes somewhere in the world, a new organisation implements an Opmantek product. Opmantek software is used by more than 50,000 organisations in 130 countries, and manages some of the world’s most complex IT environments including some of the world’s largest telecommunications carriers. Opmantek is a growth focused company and looking at potential “next stage” capital requirements.
