QCC Group Pty
Ltd (TA Queensland Connectors and Cables) secures $600,000 in first round of
funding
QCC Group, has, with the assistance of Funding Strategies, negotiated and executed a $600,000 convertible note investment with a new investor.
The investor has experience in parallel industries to QCC in NSW and is interested in working with QCC on some short-term requirements as well as some potential long-term opportunities. The original first round investment target of $500,000 was increased after negotiation to $600,000.
Rob Boogers, QCC’s Managing Director, says “We are very pleased as the investor has his own, Sydney based, business specialising in the heavy vehicle industry including the development of hydrogen/electric trucks. Discussions are already underway for QCC to provide wiring looms and harnesses for his Heavy Vehicle business as well as for other companies in the same market that are part of his network. “.
QCC currently has supply contracts with an
Australian manufacturer of mining machines, a company that custom builds
emergency services vehicles e.g. Ambulance, Police, Fire and also a
manufacturer of communication trailers which are exclusively supplied by
Telstra’s mining division.
QCC is an Australian manufacturer and supplier of cabling and infrastructure solutions across many industries including the information technology, data and telecommunications, automotive, defence, health, government and mining industries.
