Ocular Robotics Limited ACN 120 262 231 (ASSOB Code: OCR) markets high performance optical scanning systems, which it develops from its patented scanning technology.
Ocular Robotics Limited was selected by Allied Vision Technologies (AVT) a global machine vision camera manufacturer to collaborate with them on the centrepiece demonstration at the most important marketing event in their calendar. The resulting collaboration between AVT and Ocular Robotics at the VISION 2012 tradeshow in Stuttgart was the star demonstration of the exhibition. The demonstration involved the RobotEye RE01 Vision system using an AVT GT1920 camera mounted on a mock up of a Mars Rover in a Martian landscape with visitors being able to appreciate the extreme speed and precision the RobotEye brings to vision system pointing by viewing the demonstration but also to have a hands on experience using the head mounted display (HMD).
