\t"Progress on the upgrade of the pilot algae farm in Brisbane into a small-scale production facility

\tThe small ultrafiltration system continues to be assembled by our supplier in the Netherlands. The latest photograph provided (at left) shows the frame and the filtrate tank installed together with two pumps. The control panel and the filtration modules will be installed in February with shipment to Qponics expected at the end of that month. A large specialised algae centrifuge is expected to be purchased and installed in February.
\tThe ultrafiltration system and the centrifuge will be installed within a 15m x 7m shed. The earthworks for the shed site are completed, including the retaining wall to protect the slope, and the slab for the shed has been poured (image below). Concrete pathways for motorised entry and exit into and out of either end of the shed are also poured."

\tDr Graeme Barnett, Chief Executive Officer & Managing Director, Qponics Limited, 30 January 2019.
